The offices of Dr. Adam Honeybrook in Brisbane and Sydney are distinctive in their considerable on-site capabilities. Dr. Honeybrook’s career has been defined by continuous training in the latest, advanced surgical techniques in neck lifting to bring out and restore patients’ natural beauty.
Traditionally, the “neck lift” has been performed primarily through incisions in the front of the ears and the hairline area near the temples. With the deep neck lift procedure, these openings can be avoided. With selected patients, Dr. Honeybrook makes one carefully concealed incision in the crease beneath the chin. Since every patient is unique, an incision behind the ears may be necessary based on the severity of the sagging. These openings allow Dr. Honeybrook to access and tighten the deeper muscle layers, fibrous tissues, and structures of the neck. The band of tissue, or platysma muscle, is reshaped to improve the firmness and appearance of the deep foundational layers of the neck.
Dr. Honeybrook has expertly treated a range of patients across the age spectrum with neck-related laxity. He reminds readers that sagging in the lower portion of the face may not be fully resolved with the deep neck lift due to the placement of incisions. In this case, he recommends a Deep Plane Facelift procedure to correct jowls and a sagging, poorly-defined jawline. Like the deep neck lift, the deep plane facelift targets the underlying tissues to get real, sustained, and natural-looking results. More comprehensive rejuvenation may be supported with buccal fat pad reduction or a chin implant. Potential patients for all of our procedures should generally be healthy, close to or at their ideal weight, and have a positive outlook and realistic expectations about treatment.
Once bruising and swelling go down and incision lines begin to fade, you will see the full and transformative results for yourself. Now, remember that, while transformed, you will still look like yourself due to Dr. Honeybrook’s considerable skill and the unique and advanced techniques he employs to reposition, reshape, and redefine saggy, lax contours. We will go over everything to expect before, during, and after the process (including post-surgical care and recovery) well in advance of the date of your surgery. Good skincare and a healthy lifestyle help further sustain the results of this durable and innovative procedure.
Dr. Adam Honeybrook is the only surgeon in Australia to be triple-board certified in otolaryngology, including head and neck surgery, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic surgery. He has also learned from the best, globally recognized leaders in advanced procedures that are changing the paradigm in plastic surgery, such as the deep plane facelift. His far-reaching services are also not limited to sophisticated surgical interventions; for those patients who are not ready for (or who do not want to undergo) more invasive procedures, non-surgical services such as laser therapy may be in order. They can also “complete” or complement surgical treatment.
