From our offices in Brisbane and Sydney, Dr Honeybrook Facial Plastic Surgery performs many techniques that other surgeons in Australia cannot. Australia’s only US triple-boarded specialist head and neck and cosmetic surgeon who performs facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Adam Honeybrook, offers a unique breadth and depth of expertise. He has the knowledge and capabilities to perform techniques transforming how surgeons worldwide combat advanced signs of aging. He provides “deep plane” alternatives to traditional facelift and neck lift procedures.
A “traditional” neck lift primarily concentrates the incisions in front of the ears and hairline. With our deep neck lift, Dr. Honeybrook makes one carefully concealed opening to access the underlying tissues that are lifted and repositioned. This incision is located in the crease below the chin. As needed, he will make another incision concealed behind the ears.
The name refers to yet another way this technique differs favourably from traditional methods of lifting neck tissues. Dr. Honeybrook reworks the neck’s deep muscle layers and fibrous tissues through these discreet, well-placed incisions. In turn, he can effectively reshape the deep, foundational tissue of the neck to restore a balanced and appealing neckline.
Like other techniques that remodel the deep tissues and structural layers, our neck lift is designed to support sustained results. This hallmark procedure is highly regarded for its durability. Of course, not unlike other procedures offered at our offices, the longevity of your results depends on factors that you can control (lifestyle choices) and factors that are outside of your control (genetics). Generally, good habits and behaviours for the rest of your body fuel great-looking skin. They also help to delay the aging process, which ultimately leads to a recurrence of the concerns we initially treated with a neck lift in the first place.
Costs for any procedure can vary dramatically from patient to patient because each individual has different needs. Factors that can contribute to the total treatment cost range from the time and complexity associated with the procedure to anesthesia and hospital fees. We cannot overemphasize that the results from our deep-tissue treatments are designed to last, and the skill of our surgeon, Dr. Honeybrook, cannot be overstated.
